SeriesFest is bringing the award-winning Young Storytellers Script To Stage program to Denver. This is a free program for Denver-area elementary schools focused on encouraging the unique and individual voices of 5th-grade students, Young Storytellers engages students through the art of storytelling using timeless techniques of mentoring, collaboration, and performance. We provide public school students with an opportunity to write stories and see them brought to life.
The program is open to Title 1 elementary schools in the Denver metro area.

GET INVOLVED
When you volunteer, you’re nothing less than a hero. The Young Storytellers program offers many opportunities to volunteer including:
Script to Stage Mentorships:
- The Script to Stage program meets once a week for ten weeks, typically for an hour during school lunchtime. Led by a volunteer Head Mentor, each session is a mixture of creative gameplay and one-on-one writing time.
Acting Opportunities:
- Big Shows are a one-off, 3-hour commitment involving the performance of scripts written by Script to Stage participants.
What really matters is that you are interested in helping guide young storytellers. Please contact us and we will find a schedule and role that highlights your skills. Welcome to the wonderful world of Young Storytellers!
VOLUNTEERING AS A WORKPLACE OR GROUP
Volunteering with Young Storyteller as an office, college club, or group is fun and easy! Groups of 10 or more can apply! We will provide or train a Head Mentor, work with you to ready your volunteers, and connect your team with a school in the community.
